ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The 5th International Emergency Medicine Congress, organized by the Turkish Emergency Medicine Foundation, will be held in Antalya on 27–30 October 2025 with the aim of promoting the exchange of scientific knowledge in the field of Emergency Medicine and presenting the latest developments in an interdisciplinary setting.

Participants who wish to submit an abstract for oral and/or poster presentation are expected to complete their submissions in accordance with the following rules:

1) General Rules

• Both oral and poster presentations will be accepted.
• The presentation language will be English.
• Abstracts must be submitted only through the online system. Abstracts sent by e-mail will not be accepted.
• The full name, academic title, institutional affiliation, and contact information of all authors must be entered completely into the system.
• Abstracts must be original works that have not been previously presented or published.
• Full-text oral presentations will be accepted into the system after abstract evaluation.
• The presenting author must be registered as a congress participant.

2) Abstract Writing Guidelines

Each abstract must be structured under the following headings:

• Title: Should clearly reflect the content of the study, be concise, and avoid unnecessary words. Each word should begin with a capital letter; except for special cases, the title should not be written entirely in uppercase.
• Introduction (Aim): Clearly state the purpose of the study, research question, and the importance of the topic. Indicate its place in the literature.
• Materials and Methods: Describe the methodology, sample size, study process, measurement tools, and analysis techniques in detail; specify ethics committee approval where applicable.
• Results: Present key findings clearly and numerically, using simple and precise language.
• Conclusion: Clearly state the scientific contribution, practical implications, and recommendations.

3) Technical Requirements

• The abstract text should not exceed 350 words (excluding title, author names, affiliations, and tables/figures).
• Use Times New Roman, 12-point font size, and 1.5 line spacing.
• A maximum of 2 tables and/or figures may be included.
• Leave a space between paragraphs; do not indent.
• Use only standard abbreviations. Any unusual or specific abbreviation should be defined in parentheses.

4) E-Poster Preparation

• Posters accepted by the Abstract Review Committee will be displayed electronically during the congress.
• Number of Slides: Only 1 slide should be used.
• Slide Size: Use the “Wide Screen” format (16:9).
• Slide Background: If a background image is used, it is recommended to have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
• Title and Logos: Should be in bold font and designed to attract the reader’s attention.

5) Değerlendirme Süreci

• All abstracts will be evaluated by the Congress Scientific Committee.
• The main evaluation criteria will be scientific content, originality, methodological appropriateness, and compliance with submission guidelines.
• The deadline for abstract submission is 22 September 2025, 23:59. Abstracts submitted after this date will not be evaluated.
• The results of the abstract evaluations will be announced starting from 06 October 2025.

6) Ethical Rules and Responsibilities

• All authors listed in the abstract must have contributed to the study, and appropriate ethical approval must have been obtained.
• Plagiarism must be avoided, and originality should be preserved when citing references.
• Participants who fail to present their accepted abstract may have their submissions restricted in future congresses.

REGISTRATION & ACCOMMODATION

Notes

• Prices are exclusive of taxes.
• Accommodation fees cover 3 nights, with check-in on 27 October 2025 (from 14:00) and check-out on 30 October 2025 (until 12:00).
• Registration is mandatory for all speakers, specialists, residents, and company representatives to access congress common areas and scientific sessions.
• Registration fees include participation in scientific activities, congress badge, badge program, certificate of participation, and congress bag.
• Transfers included in the package are arrival on 27 October and departure on 30 October. For transfers on other dates, please contact the agency.
• Nora Mice reserves the right to reflect changes in applicable taxes, duties, and charges to the prices.
• The agency reserves the right to adjust prices in case of currency fluctuations, devaluation, or related cost differences.
• The 3-night accommodation package includes round-trip group transfer between the airport and the hotel (check-in on 27 October 2025, check-out on 30 October 2025).
• Child policy:
  • First child (0–5.99 years): Free of charge
  • First child (6–11.99 years): 35,000 TL
  • Second child (0–1.99 years): Free of charge
  • Second child (2–11.99 years): 35,000 TL

FINANCIAL TERMS

Based on the number of participants and room types communicated to us, a budget will be prepared and sent to you. Booth activities, catering services, and hall decorations requested will be priced separately.
Any remaining balance not paid on time after the congress will incur a monthly late payment interest of 10%. In cases of force majeure such as war, natural disasters, pandemics, or social events leading to postponement and/or format changes, confirmed sponsorships will be transferred to the newly scheduled congress date. In cancellations, refunds will be processed according to mutually agreed dates between the company and the agency. VAT will be added to registration, accommodation fees, and prices stated in the sponsorship file.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

• All requests must be submitted in writing to the Nora Mice agency.
• No refunds will be made for cancellations requested after 25 July 2025; however, name changes will be allowed.
• All balances must be paid before the congress; a 10% late payment fee will be applied for outstanding balances.
• The agency reserves the right to adjust prices in case of currency fluctuations, devaluation, or related cost differences.
• Please indicate “ACİL2025” in the description field of all payment transfers.
